Login & Registration

  1. What is "email (login)"?
  2. Your email address is used as your login name. Some sites refer to this as your 'user name'.

    When registering, please be sure to enter a valid email address. We will use this email address to communicate with you regarding your account. Note that Oddcast will never provide your email address or other personal details to any 3rd party without your consent. Please see our privacy policy for details.
  1. I can't login. What do I do?
  2. Make sure you are using the right login name. Your login name is the same as the email address that you used to register.
  1. I lost my password.
  2. Please click "I lost my password" at the bottom of the login window. You will be asked to enter your login name (email address), and a temporary password will be automatically generated and sent to you. Please be sure to write down your new password in a safe place.
  1. I want to register but I am afraid my contact info will be used for advertising.
  2. Oddcast respects your privacy. We do not rent, sell, or share personal information with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide the products or services you've requested. Please see our privacy policy for details.

Questions About Your Account

  1. Am I entitled to customer support?
  2. All Avatar customers are entitled to free email support. We guarantee a response within 2 working days, although we do our best to respond sooner. We have a lot of great support material online that should easily answer any questions. Check out the Avatar Studio support area. If you still have concerns, just email support@oddcast.com.
  1. Can I modify my personal information (such as email address, password, etc)?
  2. Yes. Login to the system, enter your account, and go to "Account Info". Modify your personal information and click "update".
  1. What are streams?
  2. After creating a Avatar and publishing it in a web page (or emailing it) people will view it. When one viewer views to one Avatar scene, one stream has been used.
  1. What happens when my account expires?
  2. You can login to your account even after expiration, and your data will not be lost. To renew your account email support@oddcast.com.
  1. How will I know my account is about to expire?
  2. You will be notified about the status of your account in two ways:
    1. By email - automatic notification messages will be sent if your account is about to expire or if it is running low on streams.
    2. Warning messages will be posted in the first page and the "Shows" page of the Avatar application.
    You will have several opportunities to extend your account before the account expires.

Upgrade & Renewal

  1. My account's streams have been exhausted / are about to be exhausted. What are my options?
  2. Please email support@oddcast.com to purchase more streams.
  1. My license period has ended / is about to end. What are my options?
  2. Please email support@oddcast.com to extend your license.
  1. Is it possible to create a series of playback scenes, where a Avatar character says one thing and then another character (or the same character) says a second sentence?
